Brian has a Litigation practice which focuses mainly on insurance including the defence of commercial general liability claims, product liability, directors and officers and personal injury, including fatalities and catastrophic injuries. Brian also provides coverage opinions and handles construction, surety and warranty claims. Brian is committed to solving his clients’ legal matters in a practical and efficient manner. Brian also serves as a member of the firm’s management committee.
Brian is a sessional lecturer at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Law and an instructor in the CPLED program. He has also prepared and presented papers to the insurance industry on insurance legislation. Brian has coached youth soccer and basketball and has been a board member of the University of Alberta Golden Bears Soccer Alumni and other community organizations.
Brian is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Canadian Defence Lawyers and DRI.
